I'm picking up my new kitten tomorrow and I'm having trouble coming up with a name. She's mostly black with white accents. Very sweet and playful.
These are my thoughts so far:

Thoughts on those? New ideas?

congrats on your new child. getting a new kitten is soooo exciting. my kitten's name is Chia (named after
Chia-Pet or Tai Chi. Her nickname is Cheeky which we call her most of the time. I see cats all day long at work and have hundreds of names in my memory bank. Yet I am yet to think of one good one. So maybe you would be inspired to think of a name by a few of the more unusual names of cats I've encountered. normally the cat's behavior and personality will determine what name is best suited to them. but here's a few:
King Kitten
Lucy Fur
Kitty Karma
X, Y, and Z (three siblings)
Toonces
Sputnik (a Russian Blue)
Eartha Kitt
Boinque
Soccerball
Motorhead
Booby
Here's an idea on the Japanese theme. How about Saki or Sashimi (good because cats like fish).

perhaps i read too fast to realize that x is a "she". my life is sometimes too busy to read everything. i skim through things. but the point here is that, people can change their mind. it is not like a human birth certificate that cannot be changed without legal arrangements. most likely that wouldn't happen by the way it was presented "gish is home". i work for a veterinarian and i see people change the name of their pets CONSTANTLY!
