Doar so Buzzers way of letting me know he wants attention is to slip his head into the crook of my arm and start to kneed. or when i'm in bed he just comes up and presses his nose against my forehead.

unhinged my cat was a very independent little beast because she grew up a stray so she didn't have much use for humans other than the food in her dish and a clean litter box. she was very demanding about her food. we started keeping her canned food in a cupboard under the sink and if you made her wait too long in the morning, she would start screaming at you and then start headbutting the cupboard so hard i was afraid she was going to give herself braindamage. but as she got older, every now and then she would give the affectionate head nudge and then stick her butt in your face cause she wanted you to scratch the base of her tail. scratching around the ears and the tail is the quickest way to make friends with any cat, even a bitchy one like mine.
