Lady Lightness It was day time, mid to late morning. The sun had risen over the desert dance floor. He stood to my left. He was dancing with his feet like a duck and his knees splayed. He moved his arms like bird wings. His energy was light around his eyes. I told him this. We talked, we sat under a shade structure and he shared his electrolight water while he told me of his family in Ecuador, of drum circles. On the dance floor we pranced and danced and played and laughed. We exchanged numbers and a light kiss. 070328

Lady Lightness I still know very little about him. A true Virgo, he keeps him to himself, letting little bits and pieces fall in our conversations like a momma bird feeding her young. He is kind, generous, self-sufficient, caring, loving, giving. He is messy- his place is messy, full of dirty dishes, salad dressing in the bedroom. He loves drumming, drum circles, phat beats of any kind. He loves music, loves listening to radio programs. He teaches at a local community college. He dances- 5 rhythms, contact. He jokes and plays and is goofy. He has crinkles around his eyes when he smiles like the rays of the sun. He can anticipate my needs before I can. He is three steps ahead of everything in every moment and can still be present. He is hypoglycemic and eats a couple bites of an energy-bar out of his pocket continuously. He loves bird watching. We went on a walk to the marina and sat on a dock between two boats and the wind blew and the light was grey and the water rippled and he put his arms around me. He is an only child. His family in Ecuador is his family, moreso than his parents. He wakes up early. He brings maracas and a tamborine to nightclubs. He smiles at me and in his eyes I see his deep deep love. 070329
