Deomis You will never know
What soulless ponderings
Wander within this fragile frame

The thoughts are cloaked
Behind glassy mirrors of flesh
That see all, but know nothing.

You will never know
What truth is spoken
And what lies have poisoned you.

The truth is concealed
within the innermost of my soul
Where light is twisted into darkness.

kookaburra you will never know how much you changed me,
every word
every phrase
every glance my way
you have done your part in molding me
and i cannot imagine
not having known
you

you will never know how much you hurt me
every purposeful look away
stabbed me a little deeper
made the angry red bruise
an angry red tear
unshed tears struggling
against my unwilling eyelids
as you made me remember
who i was
again

you will never know just how much you could have saved
of my poor broken self esteem
of my now ruined days
with just one smile
just less time you forgot to care

minnesota_chris I don't think a different person can give you self esteem. Not permanently, anyways. I think we have to build that ourselves, by doing experiences that we are proud of, and remembering those experiences. 040507
