joda No Shit.

Don't shave, ladies... Wax or trim. Lest you be escaping to the bathroom to scratch, every fifteen minutes, for a week afterward...

girl_jane Waxing would hurt...very very very badly. Triming is just a trim. Shaving-while itchy-works for me. It doesn't itch as badly as waxing would hurt. 030514

Bespeckled I had never waxed anything on my body a few weeks ago, when I ventured down to Newbury street (I Soci Salon) to get my first ever Brazilian Wax.

For those of you not familiar with a Brazilian, think Bikini Wax, but FAAAAAARRR more ... thorough. They pretty much get ALL of the hair down there. All.

Anyway, it was a LOT less painful than I anticipated. Since I'd never so much as had my eyebrows waxed, I had no idea what to expect, and the first rip of fabric make me nearly jump out of my skin, but after that, I just clenched my teeth, balled my hands into fists, and went along with it.

The whole process took only about 15 minutes, and it only hurt for a couple of seconds right when the strip was pulled off; the pain subsided quickly after that.

I highly recommend the Brazilian. It only cost me 40 well spent dollars, and was SOOOO much easier to do, and more aesthetically pleasing, than ::shudder:: shaving. I have vowed never to shave again.

Oh yeah, I recently got a home waxing kit and did it myself, but it definitely didn't come out the same - I think having a professional do it is a lot better, and probably worth the money.

Hoping this helps someone out there some day.

Little Lost Riding Hood Shaving doesn't itch after you have done it the first few times. I used to wax, but the problem with that is you have to allow it to grow back - and I hate a hairy ****.

I shave a perfect strip every day and it never itches!

Plus it is kinda dirty when someone else does it for you! *Wink wink*

realistic optimist it's fun to shave her, but not being a professional, i always worry, "what if the razor slips?"
"doctor, we've got a bleeder!"
and stubble chafes!
i don't believe i've ever encountered a waxed interior purse... hrm sounds nummy.

radfem bitchlord

My current policy is to never undergo any cosmetic pain for my partner unless he's willing to do the same for me. I hate it when guys ask their girlfriends to wax. How would they like the hairs on that stretchy, sensitive nutsack skin ripped out? Well, they might not mind - but they should at least try it. Nobody has the right to make demands on my body that cause any quantity of physical pain if they don't consider themselves equally predisposed.

I don't like the innate impression in the unexperienced that these things - like a hairless crotch - just magically happen to girls with minimal effort. There's no magic in waxing, shaving, plucking, tanning, and chafing away your body. That doesn't mean I'm against it - I shave and wax away the parts I feel are inconvenient - but I want my partner to know (and he's happy to learn, actually) that

holy shit, it's foggy out!
