restless and dreamless thinking of that song where he sings about the ocean and in fact sounds like he's underwater like maybe I need to go down a few blocks and make sure the ocean's still there drove by during day and relished the wash and sparkle but here it's different...always cold... gray shaded... not like down south and i think, maybe i identify with his singing because he watched where i watched from the portion that saw first love and guitar with strangers and walks with fathers and lonely lunches and and... i sang there i sang to the ocean only all connected it should feel the same, but it's the air that makes the ocean |
