Dear Campus Residents, A couple of nights ago, two large palm trees were taken from the Chapel. One was placed in a hole on the grass in front of the library, the other is currently still missing. On the one hand it sounds like a funny practical joke, but the tree left on the lawn died due to the cold. Each palm tree is worth about $600. The gardener on campus is very upset, these trees have been growing in the green house for quite some time. The dead tree is sad, but the hope is that the other tree can be returned safely. The responsible party can return the missing tree to the Chapel with no questions asked. |
