To Marx, religon was the opiate of the masses. He couldn't grasp the full richness of the worlds religons. To many, a religon can be more than just an opiate. Religous experience can be hallucinatory, depressive, or have stimulative effects similar to crack. Yea, I say unto you, that religon can be all drugs to all people. |
