Shakespeare once said, " All the world's a stage."
And you, your one of those actors who knew the script page by page
And as I stood there in the wings, I saw her and I saw you.
And it was there that I realized I'd missed my cue.
You see, I think I confused my part
I tried for the lead and it broke my heart
I started to see you, and I'd forget my lines...
Lines I had practiced thousand of times.
So I decide to make it up as I went along,
And now I'm afraid everything's all wrong
Because I really wanted to rewrite the play
I was just determined that it wouldn't end this way
But it did, so I'll probably miss the curtain call
But because of her you won't miss me at all
I'll just go ahead, bow out gracefully
Nobody will notice if I exit hastily
So don't blow kisses good bye
Don't send flowers, don't lie
