| Q |
Living where I do, though, I have been wont from time to time to refer to the weather as being "colder than a witch's teat." Meaning, of course, that of a mythical witch (which is certainly considered in western literature as not a warm being), not that of a real woman who by virtue of religious affiliation regards herself as a witch. Okay, I should probably just stop using that phrase. Certainly many people would be offended by it. Damn, how can simple things get so complicated? I'm cold now. |
