Physicists are saying that according to string theory, existence "requires" 11 dimensions.
What is being required?
We started with the good old 3 dimensions,length, width, and depth. Even here at the start I'm confused. Why are they dimensions? Why don't we simply talk of the one dimension of volume?
It seems that the function of dimensions is to "flesh out"existence.
Then there is time, a non volume dimension. So on our way to 11 what are some candidates? Gravity, movement, uncertainty? Scale? I need to think.

My Senses Are Tuned To Particular Frequecies, Light, Sound, Scent, Ect.
Things Lieing Outside Those Ranges Will Remain Unknowable To Me.
String Theory As I Understand It Is A Mathmatical Equation That Is Attempting To Describe A Unified Field Effect, Combining Gravity, Electromagnetic, Strong And Weak Nuclear Forces In One Equation.
They Are Attempting To Visualize The Inner Workings Of The Universe As A Whole. Needless To Say That The Description Is Going To Be Just That...
A DESCRIPTION, An Analogy Of Something That For The Most Part Will Forever Remain OutSide Our Abilities To Directly Observe.
Certain Chemical Compounds Can Retune Your Senses, Or At Least The Processing Apparatus, And Allow Us To Expierence Other States Of Being, Whether These Are Actually Other Dimensions Or Not Is A Matter Of Debate. And Since The Use Of Most Of These Compounds Is Considered A Crime It Rather Restricts Free Investigation Into The Nature Of The Expieriences.
Once Viewed It Is Hard To Deny That There Is More To Life Than This Veiled Existance Of Work_Breed_Consume.
Deep Meditation Is Said To Reveal Similar Vistas To Those That Can Still The Inner Voices And Retune Their Senses To The Void. But Like Most Of Us Here I've Got To Run.
