The Law? When those who make the law, those who interpret the law and those who enforce the law agree to make, allow and enforce "legal crimes", then what has law become, but a farce..a tool of exploitation and control disguised as our saviour? There is little real LAW to speak of anymore. None that will help a victim in his hour of need. I remember an episode of cops where they came upon a burglar in the act. "That never happens," said one officer. Exactly. The state shows up after the fact because there is money to be made in human tragedy. I held my ex-wife's mutilated arm..using my hands as a tourniquet..for 25 minutes waiting for emergency responders to arrive. The first on the scene were the police, my hands were cramping up, my wife's bloody arm was in my hands..tendons moving, but fingers not. When I yelled in desperation.."PLEASE! Take her arm now!!", the officer responded in an overly authoritarian dad voice "You better watch your tone!!" (I haven't had a father since I was 2. Not sure why he thought I needed one just then.) These are our protectors: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G63FEamhpA0 Abusive little boys in adult bodies with cruel toys and the urge to use them. That is our law. Sleaze bag attorneys with fat budgets and no scruples. That is our law. Abusive parasites with a bloated sense of entitlement who stuff their pockets and those of their cronies, then hide everything so their crimes don't come to light until after they are DEAD. That is our law. Judges who turn a blind eye to abuses of authority, corruption of our Constitution and more expansive protections and powers for our exploiters (ala Citizens United vs.) That is our law. Greed. Control. Fear. Exploitation. Assassination. THAT is our law. We've had the same two parties in power since 1852. Looking for improvements in our condition? 1. Well blacks aren't enslaved anymore..at least not by private owners. They've just joined the rest of us in the factory slave pools. (Because what is an employee to a profitable company..but free labor that takes care of its own food, clothing and shelter arrangements?) So we're all slaves together now. Great. Doesn't mean the beatings have stopped. Just try NOT doing what we're told. Field master wears a badge now. House slaves drive Lexus' automobiles. 2. Women can vote! Alright! Now they can feel empowered like the rest of us to stand in line in November and accomplish nothing! Hooray! Thanks for the big concession powers-that-be! 3. Women have joined the workforce! Yay! Now instead of JUST slaving over their families..they can either a) work themselves into an early grave trying to provide for both their families needs AND their employers needs b) or they can let their corporate masters (er..I mean TV) raise their kids. In any event they'll be paid less than men and sexually harassed along the way..so what a win-win for everyone! 4. Child Labor Laws & Forced Schooling Laws were passed! YAAAY! Now, instead of the factory owners paying to train their OWN workers..taxpayers can pay for that pre-training! Plus it has the added benefit of giving the state the ability to do a little social engineering with our childrens' mind. Oh, and did I mention that drawing out adolescence creates developmentally stunted adults. (Read that: dependent adults) That's good for service industries..huh? It's a win-win for everybody..in power. We could go on..and on and on.. Just look for the money trail. Assume the powers-that-be made a policy decision to try and screw us over..you won't be disappointed. That's the LAW. But I'm an optimist. I believe it will get better once we've felt the flames and pull our hand from the fire of authority. Most humans are just no good at ruling other humans. Particularly the sort that live "perfect lives" & have "lots of things." All those indicate to me is that they are exceptional liars who focus mostly on material matters. We need leaders who have made mistakes. Because that's where life's lessons and the wisdom they foster comes from. We need leaders who have a healthy relationship with money..not an obsessive one. Leadership should come from within and raising our children carefully and with conscience can create those leaders. Raising greedy, snarky, sarcastic, insult comedy obsessed, self indulgent, spoiled bullies will not. Just watch TV and realize that children do NOT get the subtleties of sarcasm and social situations. They just see people using their intellect to say mean things. Then they hear the audience laugh..along with the people in the living room. Humor made humorless. They see MMA fighters beating the crap out of each other and watch everyone cheering and think that violence is acceptable and desirable after a time. THEY want to beat someone up to garner that approval and respect. What children don't realize is that they were born into a world-wide insane asylum and that their healthy, innocent little minds are being molded by generation after generation of accidental_lunatics. That's who's writing THE LAWS.

the law was determined by gatherings, of humans, put down in writing. The writing lasted, was revered, and passed on. a boundary of societal confinement. To protect...? who knows... who fucking knows? you? are your logical arguements based with the agelessness of knowing all about what has based the human experience? And do you have only the unbelievable as your reference.... Why souldn't the eyes be on the back burner forever or ask why the history that makes us ask of the history? .

Gotta make those trillions of marketing dollars work for the revolution. How to use the conditioning that's already there (patriotism? Loyalty? insecurity? etc..) to convince people of the need for drastic action?
