Not that I was going to vote for him anyway, but I feel sorry for him. An Illinois senator who was once married to actress Jerri Ryan, and they both had a son before the divorce. After the divorce, the records were sealed. Which doesn't seem too uncommon in a divorce, especially when a Hollywood actress is involved. Anyway, the local news here in Chicago got wind of the sealed records and of course, the circus began. Ryan steadied himself for the coming onslaught, and reassured the GOP that there was nothing to worry about. Until the record was opened. Seems as if the Ryan's split because of 'ear wreck cone sigh lable' differences. When pressed for an explaination, he declined. You guys wanna know what Jack did to Jerri? He took her to sex clubs in Chicago, New York, and Paris, and asked her (his wife) to perform infront of strangers. When she declined and began crying, he dropped the matter and left with his wife without provocation. That bastard!!! What's worse, the GOP threatened to take him out of the race if he didn't pull out. There was even one guy in their organization that had the unmitigated gall to say that Ryan didn't reflect the values of the Illinois Republican party. A man who actually wants to fuck his own wife? Yeah, doesn't sound republican to me. While a coke snorting draft dodger made it to the White House.... Wake me up November 4th.

He's a Representative who was running for the Senate, but not quite a Senator yet (though he is/was already trailing his opponent, Barack Obama), and while i could give two shits about his own personal sexual behavior, between his support for the Federal Marriage Amendment and his decision to have the equivalent of a professional stalker following Obama on a nearly 24/7 basis for several weeks, i can't say i pity the guy - mainly because of his response to criticism over the video-stalker issue "Hey, anyone running for political office should expect public attention." and with those words, he did open himself to whatever fallout came his way.

Crapture, you're right. Forgot all about the cameraman following Obama. But still, really amazed at how the GOP treated him over the divorce info. But then again, he did beat the member of their good old republican network. I guess I shouldn't be so surprized.
