i take a step i see a little flicker out the corner of my eye. i nochalantly take another step, flickers dont bother me, i say to myself. i see it again. i bravely take another step breathing in breathing out. the flicker flickers again. i stop. i turn around. there is nothing there. i take a step i see a little flicker out the corner of my eye. and a little glow. i whirl, ready to confront whoever it is only to find there is noone there only to find my shadow trailing silently behind me. where she should be. i take a step i see another little flicker out the corner of my eye. i stop. i turn. now there are two shadows. how odd. as i watch, they multiply three shadows, four. like badly loaded super8 they flicker and waver and continue to grow. five. six. i stand. i stare at the puddle of blue shadows at my feet following me around always going where i have already been. what do you want from me?
