my heart hurts especially hard these days. burying my uncle was hard. helping my mom write his eulogy, looking at all the pictures some of them eerily resembling my brother (who I haven't seen in too damn long)
i grabbed my dads arm at the cemetery and laid my head on his shoulder. so close and so quiet I could hear the labored shortness of his breath trying to stop himself from crying.
i had no words. i watched my mother literally bury her brother that day and the only thing that was good enough was hugs.
