i think that every human being survives by a number of vital lies. foma. essential insanities. we are not equipped to be trying to deal with our own reality, but we have to manage somehow, so we build a pretty little picture and convince ourselves it's real. there is no bitterness in this statement. i think it's beautiful. and i think it's funny how many people think they're holding "truth" in their hands when all they have are pretty pictures. |
