i can't really say, different performances mean different things at different times. Weezer provides. i think the second time i saw them was best. at one point saves the day was in the lead. and before that the weakerthans.

i have to say two are tied the masterclass of the first two movements of shostakovich 8 string quartet at mcmf in milwaukee because it changed the way i love the violin may 31st 2002 cedars, youngstown ohio ivet because i hadn't been that happy to hear the return of something and be able to look at it differently in my whole life "where's god when you need that bastard most of all?..." he was in your smile frank.

TOOL was amazing. i thought i was going to die. in fact, i probably did. i felt that way when i saw WEEZER,too. still in 2000, on independence day, i saw the washington d.c. symphony play at the washington monument and the capital building, and that was really spectacular. there were fireworks and they shimmered so clearly on the potamac river. that was definately supercool.

16volt, Kidney Thieves, KMFDM, P.I.G. In that order. It had started out a KMFDM concert, but KMFDM sucks now that they lost guenter from the band, no one can play the guitar like him, so the riffs are slower, and crapy. 16volt rocked, hardcore, and Kidney Thieves has a lot of talent, but almost as important, the lead singer has a beautiful voice, and an even more amazing body

Any Pink Floyd concert I've been too. They say so much and the technical aspect is with out doubt the best in the world.

Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Warren G, and Eminem. I was obsessed with Snoop at the time and i got 3rd row seats too. i was freaking out cuz he was RIGHT THERE! The show was amazing--like the sets and everything, and it was awsome to c all those artists together. They sounded really good live, and it was obvious they were enjoying themselves as much as we (the audience) were.

I was a young 17. My best girlfriend and I took a trip to the big city in our friend's old bi-colored Firebird. It had racing straps and a glove compartment full of speeding tickets. We went to go see Rush. I was wearing ripped jeans and I had lots of long straight hair. I was skinny and cute then. I'll never forget Geddy Lee's red high tops and the energy of the crowd. Or how cool and grown up I felt. And how interesting my life was. This is the kind of time that you remember when you're 50 and old and saggy and live in the suburbs. I only wish that I had appreciated it more... you never know what you have until it's gone.

the last one (on friday, maybe 20 people at the most, though i think it was closer to a dozen) was nice and cozy and it threw me down an emotional waterslide that took two hours of writing painful memories to get me out of... it was good, though, but in that goodness i really felt out of place after all my friends and the girl i went to see's friends decided to leave after her act (she opened for two other ladies)... and then the girl sat with her parents... so i sat there by myself with the guy who reminded me of a young david suzuki in plain view and listened to the music while i tried not to cry...
