Its one sound I try to keep around me no matter where I am. It helps remind me that every tick of the clock is something I won't get back. And that I have been allotted only a specific number of them. Clocks scare the shit out of me. But I keep dozens in my house. And get told I'm rude because I keep staring at the one on my wrist. I think clocks are the most profound reminders of life that I can imagine. |
