if there really was a benevolent higher power watching over the universe, i refuse to believe that that power would allow so much pain and suffering in the world. the big crack in my heart is not some kind of test, or just enough pain for me to handle dished out by something above that knows better. it is the result of the choices i have made. there's nothing higher or benevolent about that. |
