Ever stop to think about the expression "follow the money trail"? At some point, it's not NECESSARY to follow the money trail, is it? I mean if you see money disappearing from one place, and see it appearing in another place, the course of the trail doesn't really matter at that point. It's pretty obvious where the trail leads to and where it leads from. So why is it so difficult for us to see who the thieves are in human society? Have we stopped to re-examine the huge fortunes in our society? Where do they come from? Why, look at that, most of them made their money producing humanity's biggest problems: petroleum consortiums, plastic guilds, candy moguls and big box store small business assassins. Weapons and pesticide manufacturers. Distraction producers and investment bankers. Isn't it odd that they're still in charge even though they cause so many problems? But no one THOUGHT Rockefeller & Ford were killing the planet so they handed them the keys to humanity and never took them back. I wonder how history will see Tesla and our wholesale efforts to reduce pollution by pulling large quantities of lithium out of the ground and concentrating them? (While plastic manufacturers prepare to crank out 40% more plastic by 2030.) More pointless billionaires solving problems caused by other pointless billionaires. And we'll pay more pointless wealthy folks to solve the problems caused by this "solution." Imagine how absolutely out of touch with reality we must be to think that people who've never experienced the hardships of working class life, would have any clue about how to solve working class problems. Meanwhile every last bit of our energy is caught in a web owned by holding companies, or small business people who will eventually sell out to holding companies. And where does the money trail lead? To the very people who claim that they want to help humanity, and whose fortunes come from exploiting humanity and destroying the future. So what's the solution? I'm not sure. I know what's working for me: turning_away. De-domesticate ourselves. Re-establish working relationships with real people instead of remote bosses and unknown investors. Scratch out a living serving the working class, rather than taking the shiny lives promised by plantation owners with their golden handcuffs. Get in touch with our simpler, poverty-worthy side. Stop TAKING THEIR MONEY and be proud of the fact that we had the balls to. Shamelessly shame shameless materialists. Their spirits will cheer as their brains fume and hate. see also: noun_junkies
