my friend eric and i were enjoying ourselves. we were seated in the smoking section just so we could have our friend wait on us. a family of three sit to the table to my immediate left. a mother, a father, and a child of about 8 years of age. they were on vacation as far as i could tell by listening in. the father and mother were both complete jerks! the kid asked if the family could do somethings on vaction, he had several good ideas, he also asked very politely, and they told their kid to quit bitching and whining or they'd go home. after ordering the kid noticed that the meal came with a salad, and innocently asked where the salad bar was. his father, now enraged at him said "there isn't a fucking salad bar, it's a dinner salad, they bring it to you, now sit your ass down." this was completely uncalled for, and i was now more pissed off than the childs father, save i had a respectable reason. my friend eric calmed me down and kept me from telling the father how i felt. the kid was between the ages of seven and twelve. very impressionable, taking on traits of their parents..... some people are just pain assholes
