I am not straight today because to tell it straight would be to say his name (who is Jurgen Habermas? that is not his name but it sounds too close) and I still miss him and if I'm not good looking enough to marry medicine or technology and I'm sure literature's cheating on me on the side but it's alright: I've got rhythm, I've got music, I'm at a three-person removal from a crazy dead fascist American poet with weird musical theories (me, music prof, R. Murray Schafer, Ezra Pound) who I am also studying, sort of. Sometimes I wish I were married and that is very strange. |
