dafremen Gawd..I haven't watched but 15 minutes of this so far and it's disgusting. Neither candidate is answering the questions. They are just trying to score points against each other. What's REALLY funny about that is that they seem to agree on just about EVERYTHING, but refuse to admit it.

Question: Should health care be treated as a commodity?

Obama: Let's put medical records online to reduce paperwork and errors.

McCain: We should put medical records online to reduce errors.

Question: Why should we believe that either party is going to change things?

Obama: We need to get rid of the catering to lobbyists and special interests. (Obama received more campaign financing from bankers and corporations than even rich guy's buddy McCain did..) Let's look at the record. When Bush came into office there was a surplus...Since he's been in office, the national debt has gone from 5 Trillion to 10 Trillion dollars. (I did a double take on that one. Wait...I thought you just said there was a surplus..)

McCain: Let's look at the record. I'm the one with experience in bipartisanism. Senator Obama has never gone against his party leaders. I think back to the wonderful old days of Reagan working with Tip O'Neal..blah blah (He goes on to repeat this a couple of times.)

Question: I dunno it got really tedious and boring so it was something about the environment..

McCain: We need to start offshore drilling. We need to use clean burning coal. We need to increase nuclear power use.

Obama: We need to reduce our dependence on foreign oil. We need to tell oil companies that have all of these land rights.."Hey if you're not exploring the land you have you're going to lose it." We need to use clean burning coal. We need to increase nuclear power.

Blah Blah Blah..

I just turned this shit off. No mention of the banking bailout. No mention of banking as part of the problem...period. Just "he sucks" "no he does" "no it's him."

What a farce. What a crock of shit.

Ok I'm done.. Thank you.

Strideo . . . or you could just vote for Bob Barr (Babar! lol) since he will be on the ballot.

not that I'm saying that the two are interchangeable.

I'm really tired of the fact that most Americans seem to see the two dominant parties as the only viable options as though there are only two political philosophies out there. I don't know about most of you but my political leaning are not summed up by the Republican or the Democrat parties. I'm probably closest to a Libertarian.

I dunno. sometimes I feel like the two parties in their never ending adversarial struggle only helps to obfuscate certain issues. maybe we're all to busy watching them duke it out to really look at the issues at hand. they always set the agenda but it isn't always the one I'm most concerned with.

tourist The Major Parties are in the pockets of the Money Men. Almost without exception the candidates are members, or have close affiliation with the Council on Forign Relations and are Backed by the Central Bank Cartel AKA the Ferderal Reserve. The Political Process Has Become A Theatrical Presentation to Distract the Populace from the fact that We are being Systematicaly Enslaved. Our Ability to Extract ourselves from their Mechanism is Becoming Impossible to Escape. Almost all the Media has been Squeezed so that Unbiased Information is very hard to come by, and any disident voice is quickly presented as a Kook or Terrorist.
The reason I Mention Ron Paul is that He is the Only Politician I Have Ever Heard That Addressed The Federal Reserve Head On, Trying to Spell out the Facts and Problems of the Fiat Currency System to Anyone who would listen. He Really helped me Understand the Economic Situation (not that I have been able to Improve my lot)
even Before the Current Mess Reared it's Head.
