nah, i have faith, still, that there's warmth in the future. i have a marvelous faith. although, each little sidestep out of the way has led me here. freedom, yes, and greater self-understanding. maturity. a direct knowledge that had i done it all again, i'd happily do it differently. where it hasn't led, though, is money or friends, which is, of course, a bummer. would i trade the talents i've gained for that sort of thing? i wouldn't know. (i suppose it all depends.) |
