Today I'd like you to realize that YOU are in charge
That's going to be a difficult thing for some of us to accept because to accept that we are in charge is to accept that
we're also responsible, to some extent
for what the system is doing to us
There is no force on the Earth
that can MAKE you choose to act against the dictates of your conscience. The power is YOURS and YOURS ALONE to direct your inner drive and thus your outer acts.
But don't get me wrong, that doesn't mean that the system isn't TRYING to divert that inner motivation because it definitely does and these days..it succeeds an awful lot.
What I am saying is that in the end..YOU may choose any path you see fit.
You may choose any course you wish..with the system..against the system..ANY COURSE YOU CHOOSE.
And the best the system can hope to accomplish against your personal power is to try to divert it and pervert it.
As far as I can see, there are three methods the system uses to divert your inner drive away from it's natural course: Instruction, persuasion and coercion.
Instruction is when the system tries to TEACH you how to act.
Parenting, formal education, peer example. These are types of instruction.
Persuasion is when the system tries to CONVINCE you how to act by promising some benefit.
Material success, peer approval, pleasure. These are some so-called benefits promised in order to persuade you.
Coercion is when the system tries to intimidate you into acting a certain way by threatening some punishment for not complying.
Embarrassment, pain, incarceration and death. These are examples of punishments promised (and delivered) in order to change your natural course.
It's important that we recognize these three methods, because they are the basis for the three most influential
forces in society today: The education system, the mass media and the law.
But see..
I remember a child.
I remember a child who couldn't be persuaded to act against his conscience..a child who knew no fear
a child whose inner drive steered his Path down its natural course.
I remember a happy child, oblivious to the system's ways. And that child was me.
And I miss that child.
And I miss my personal power. So I've decided to take it back
By disregarding risk.
By disregarding fear.
By disregarding persuasion.
By QUESTIONING my education.
And I hope you will as well..because that child IS YOU TOO.
And because I love you and want you to know what it is that you are.
To TRULY know what it is that you're on this Earth to be
I want that for you..you deserve to know.
You deserve to experience the beauty of the journey that your inner drive would take you on when left to it's own devices..without instruction, persuasion or coercion.
You DO have power..a great and awesome power and the system doesn't stand a chance against it, because the system feeds on that power.
The system IS that power...perverted.
But in the end, YOU are in charge of YOUR ACTIONS.
So take a chance...step outside the lines. Do something crazy.
Discover the personal power you have to steer your own course and you will discover that you are FREE to act as you will regardless of what the system tells you.
So have a GREAT day. The best you ever had.
Don't let them kick your ass..and don't let them change you.
