1]buzZed hair down pretty damn low, eXcept the two long antenna strands in the front ... which I left black
2]bleached black hair down to a nice carmel orange, again eXcept antennas
3]dyed buzZed hair with Punkys color *atlantic blue*
4]made moon.comet.planet.star stencils out of cleaned/recycled/super siZed McDonalds cups [[used X-acto knife]]
5]after dye dried & stencils were cut, i placed the separately cut stencils in the proper places, one at a time, on bleached the /buZzed/dyed hair using an artists paint brush to paint in the same kind of hair bleach & developer used earlier
6]waited for it to take it down to a nice lime-yellowish color
7]rinsed out bleach
8]conditioned head
9]viola
10]moon.comet.planet.star-dom head achieved
+did the whole process myself
+didnt take long at all
+when you bleach in the stencil designs, i found it to be helpful to smooth the hair forward so that you'd have a flat surface to paint bleach on [don't worry looks fabulous when styled anyway .. forward...back... up]
+if you screw up the design which i haven't ever yet, you can always re-dye with atlantic blue & no one but you will ever know.
