i got a whiff of vegemite a couple of months ago at my music history prof's house; she's from austrailia. vegemite was a rite of passage to join her drinking circle in doctoral school. a heaping spoonful, no toast. it didn't smell so bad, but i'm not sure i could eat it straight. |
