As my own illustrious failures have proven to me over the years, the most effective and lasting means of retaining the affections of a woman who under various circumstances and for a multitude of reasons has spurned attention appears--without exception--to be accountability for one's own affections. Under no circumstances is it permissible to make excuses for being in love. A grand argument may be made for the validity of appearing masculine in the effort to win a woman's favor. In truth, the masculine approach is admit one's interest and express a disinclination for a change in their romantic appreciation, whether by multisyllabic or curt, gutteral expressions. So long as the intent is clear and the message delivered timely a great deal of confusion or disallusionment may be avoided. |
