I propose a new calandar. One with Twelve months, Each with Thirty Days. No more Rhymes , To give us reason, For the convoluted Nonsense we now use. To keep it straight With the Solar Season, We'd add a Hop Just Five days long, To be inserted for Our Leisure! And Every Fourth Year We'd take one day more! This Hop would be an Holiday! A time of Thanks and Pause. We all would feast and Dance and Sing The Nonuary Song! |
