If I am unable to convince you I understand, but this is as much a release for me as an admission to you. I cannot face you, because I cannot bear another fight. I realize that posting personal things like this is not the most fair or proper thing to do, but I feel like I have to do it. I did have my attention elsewhere. That does not preclude any consideration of you. There was never a time that I did not think of you as someone special. I was glad to have you as a friend, and I did care about you despite appearances. I honestly did think that one day there might be a chance between us. The fact of the matter is you were thirteen and I was just not comfortable with the age difference. |
