it's hard to introduce a topic when you hardly care about it. while i don't think that no one should study this stuff i certainly know that i shouldn't be trying to convince people that art is the saving force in the world. i hardly believe it myself and my argument is, as required, a piecing together of three german idealists (though arguably one's a romantic, the other a proto-existentialist, and the third a post-modernist). define thy terms professor, or don't expect me to define mine. |
