incidentally, my fav kind of wordsplurge bound between you know cheap cardboard flaps is ah well...probably sci-fi
or anything by updike, mailer, baldwin, dilillo, mailer etc. stories of a grand vision that follow a protagonist though all of his existential ups and downs
