i recently finished a job where I was standing at random intersections around the state, looking in people's cars to see if they were wearing their seat belts. Taking notes into a Palm Pilot.
Five of us Traffic Spies (my term) got dressed up in blaze orange vests and stood around an intersection in Downtown St. Paul, eyeing the drivers as they went by. We made them pretty nervous. One of them was smoking pot. It was enjoyable, and I got paid $100 a day, plus meals and hotel (!) expenses.
