sameolme It was 1976 and I was broke in Berkeley.
I got a job at a bindery and the first book that I helped bind was, Gravity is the 4th Dimension,by Kent Robertson Ben Abraham. It was a little, self published
book that expounded the author's theory that the reason inertial force and gravitational force are indistinguishable
is that they are indeed the same force.
The force that we feel as gravity is the Earth expanding beneath us. This book blew me away. I wasn't sure whether it was a valid theory or a crackpots fantasy, but the sheer creative energy behind
it made me acutely aware that there is more to the world than dreamt of in my philosophy. For years after reading it, I was reminded of it by
graffiti stenciled neatly here and there in Berkeley that read simply,
Gravity is the 4th Dimension. I am still grateful to this author for helping open my mind.
