Alright, time to tell y'all how I feel about this kneeling for the anthem thing.
Short version: This is a distraction to keep the American people divided as we all become disgusted with our leadership and the people pulling their strings.. Divided, we are easier to control and won't see them robbing us and tightening our chains through legislation.
Here's the logic:
Why did any of us think kneeling during the anthem was a sign of disrespect anyway? It was a plant in the media, that's why. Someone SUGGESTED to us that because it was different, it must be disrespectful. But kneeling before a flag is not now, nor has it ever been a sign of disrespect.
We stand for the admiral, we kneel before God.
We kneel to take the Holy Sacrament if we are Catholics.
Brits kneel before the Queen, before being knighted.
We kneel when we are humbled.
We kneel when we are reverent.
As you can see. There was never any doubt as to the amount of respect these players have for the flag. Kneeling is a sign of great respect.
The real traitor here is the person who first suggested to the other fans that kneeling was disrespectful. That person was trying to turn Americans against each other.
That person hates America and wants her divided.
Final analysis: When are we going to demand news stories about the corporations that are stealing our jobs? When are we going to hear about how the mortgage rules have been relaxed again and another 2008 con job is on the way? When are we going to hear about how cities and states are ratcheting up the ticket quota during high gas price periods but never bringing those quotas back down? When are we going to hear about how the police pension and the judges pension and the court clerks pension is paid with that ticket money? A conflict of interest?
When are we going to start paying attention to the news we can all get behind instead of focusing on this crap they feed us that divides us? When are we going to grow up and take our country back instead of being spoonfed this bullshit?

Mostly a lurker here, but I’m pretty sure our human race (which we are all bound to) by its own nature dooms itself to divisiveness and hate.
I agree with literally everything you said, but a lot of people would disagree with everything you said. Thus is life and it’s all we’ve got.
