emotional intelligence is a thing. but it doesn't mean you should be saving people from the truth your whole life long. there are so many things i don't say that i don't question what i do say but i'm starting to find ways to put more things in my overflowing coffers of things to shut up about. "you should listen to this band!" shut up don't tell them about this band. all bands are one form or gradation of mystery cult that we pretend can't exist anymore so we keep telling each other about "this band!" any band. we should change it back to "banditos", serious. honesty would help. |
