men_carrying_purses
miss independence listening to my favorite trashy talk radio show. They were talking about men carrying purses for their wives or girlfriends. like at a shopping mall. the host was of the opinion that the girl was marking her territory. showing ownership. so that if other chicks look at him, they know he's taken. men don't like to carry purses if they are heterosexual. it makes them feel less masculine. even as a girl, i can understand that point a view. it's like asking your boyfriend to wear your dress. and some high heels. might as well add some lipstick with that. i try not to turn my guy into a drag_queen. 040407

misstree hmm... yep, i'd have to call that an asinine practice through and through, as described in the first post... the whole marking territory thing in the first place... now, i admit, i get a cheshire_grin whenever i can leave a lasting wound on someone, and in a way it is marking territory, but more in a "i've been here" kinda way... all kindsa insecurities if you make your man hold your purse as a sign of ownership... to me, the only time to have a man hold/carry your purse, is if you are for some reason incapable of doing it your damn self... trying on jackets, juggling, diving into the fountain at the mall, etc... i dunno... empty and opinoinated...

and i wholeheartedly support men with purselike substances... they deserve to be able to hoard useless things just like women do...

minnesota_chris I'm not sure if women hand men their crap for marking purposes. Leaving underpants, however, is very territorial. 040409
