it's funny you say i'd have no choice because you'd dress yourself up, becoming something harder to resist, but i can't think of anything harder to resist than the sight of you within my reach. you tempted me with talk of random city rendezvous' and made me wish i stayed up all night in strange cities, but I still know that here is where i need to be and I don't need to get more distracted than I already am. but you know what else struck me as odd? before you decided to beat me to it, i had words waiting and thoughts tinkering. i was thinking that the reason i wish you would stay close to me was so that i could go ahead and fall madly in love. |
