Obviously a lot of papers here are blowing it out of proportion and going on about how emo is a suicide cult. A couple of articles I've seen have had 'subculture experts' who have cited wikipedia as a source for their understanding of emo!? A lot of the articles have called emo a subcultre of goth. A whole lot of misunderstanding in Australian journalism it seems. |
