u24 i want to take some photos to turn into a tarot deck. If anyone can list the major arcana and the usual visual symbolism that goes with them, or point me to a site that does, I'd be grateful. I may re-use some of my_photos in the deck.
cheers,
.

u24 actually, I don't think I'll stick to the common symbolism, partly due to lack of resouces, but also because it would restrict the artistic freedom. though it would be a good project to help formalise my photography (a photographic project would be a good thing for me to do... later) 061030

misstree remind me once my visitor is no longer the main focus of all my hours

i spent some time poking into the quabbalistic roots of tarot so i could put together an interpretation booklet for meself... didn't get too much into the major arcana, but the biggest gist of both halves is that they're paths... thus starting with the fool and progressing from each step.

like i said, if reminded, i'll holla nearby our other mechanical theoretical discussionary groupings.

also be very interested to see the ways that you tangent from tradition. tradition only is there as the way it has been done before. no reason to think it's any more right than any other way. well, yeah. that statement isn't *entirely* true, but, well, guestness calls...

u24 i'm probably to go completely abstract and have the picture have nothing whatsoever to do with the cards they represent. I may try to use indicative pictures, so that the_star may become a river reflecting sunlight (to show clarity and reflect the common view of time as a river). 061031
