this show was so fucking cool. i dont care if it was an mtv show(cause mtv holland is cool anyway), it fucking kicked ass. ive been sorta dying to vent about this, so yeah. here we go.
okay, so basically. you have 2 teams, made up of two guys(friends)each. and team 1 started off at the northernmost point in europe(some random place in norway it think), and team 2 started off at the southernmost point in europe(gibraltar). and basically they had to hitch-hike to the opposite end, in three weeks, with a budget of 250 euros.
and it was just too fucking funny. i swear to god it was great. the guys in team 2 had the shittest luck. no-one would give them rides, no one would give them a place to stay - they had to sleep outside so many times, no one would give them any money, but they totally managed to do it. it was funny. and team 1 were the opposite. they managed to somehow end up sleeping in a hotel or something alot of the time, random people would give them money. they hardly had to use anything from their budget, whereas team 2 were down to like, 20 euros by the end of the first week.
haha. and ofcourse - memorable quote from team 2 : "godverdomme lekker biertje!" hehe. it was great. and team 2 had a thing where everytime they had to run across a riduculously busy highway, they would film each other running. that was funny.
it also totally showed the cultural differences in europe. the further north you are, the nicer/more open/trusting the people are. go south, people are massive cunts.
