reading frAnk's review of scorsese's_the_gangs_of_new_york reminds me of the scar over my right eye
it's starting to fade again
i want to keep it
i think it's time for a touch up
i don't remember which fight first saw it opened, there have been so many, and all of the weird, coincidental little accidents that kept it fresh through no effort of my own
and the inbetween days when compulsion and a hundred species of nameless despair have led me to bring a blade against my own skin
it's a thin scar, the original wound was a clean slice and if i had let it be stitched it might have scarred even more visibly.
pity now to think i missed that chance
(trust me... to see this face is to know that the scar's no ruin...might even be an improvement)
possibly the most visible of all the flowers in my scar_garden
the line is fading again as all of my scars tend to do and i am out of razors
i'll have to fix that soon
