the light was only to attract the masses who are blind and respond to predictable stimuli. Light is a favorite tool of the spirit angler along with rapid movements, and vivid colors. Anything that attracts attention give you an opportunity to get your message through. Electricity is one of the many tentacles that the beast has wrapped around material society, their are others to be sure. Still, if it is a messiah you would be, and I mean the true and soul feeling of messiah, not the negative megalomaniacal intentions we associate it with these days. (I'll try not to get off track about how easy it is to keep another Jesus from ever cropping up..if one wanted such a thing, by teaching people to be suspicious of anyone with a message that smacks of "I'm here to help you find your soul"), but the pure and exquisitely painful experience of being in love with humanity and needing somehow to make a differences that could purhaps end the strange, senseless nightmare of greed that is entirely too unnecessary. You, Mr. electricjesus, sir, propably already understand that the earth has plenty for everyone. You probably also know that what we're all fighting over is not what there is, but for CONTROL over what there is. Why? Because even though there is enough for all, you can only take it out by working to get it out, and there are SOME people that just don't want to work. Who does? So they basically figure they're giving themselves paradise, but you and I both know that you CANNOT reach paradise at the cost of another, because paradise resides in being one with all. If someone is TRULY one with all, and not just giving lip service to the notion, they could not gain without wanting to share that gain, and they could never gain at another's loss, for that would be like stealing food from their own stomach. I know, you felt that. Here's the thing though, you cannot put your faith or authority in one man if you will not put it in ALL men. Not for as long as human beings are being conditioned to be greedy. FIRST you must fix the broken people, THEN they can be trusted to keep the message pure and pass it on untainted. Oneness knows that the future and the past are the present. As a messiah, you no doubt understood this and tried to apply the best bandage that you could to the hemorraging. You were a skilled healer, of hearts and of hands and so, you cannot be blamed for what occurred after your death. You may not have feared death, but your followers were as you predicted in your parable of the scattered seeds. The ground must be prepared and the seed prepared before the message will take root. That is why for every flashing light that points them to greed, we must provide a message that points them to unity. For every message that tells them we are difference, we must have a louder one that lets them know we are more alike. For every subliminal scrap of garbage that sends them running to the merchants stalls to have the latest thing that they will not want tomorrow, we will speak openly and vividly about a better future..true contentment to last mankind forever.
I will not tell you what we have to do.
You knew long before I ever did, but this time when you take up the challenge, we've got to unplug them from the receptacle before you can wean them off the juice. We've got to let them see the possibility FOR THEM in a life lived FOR ALL before we can get them to let go of a life lived FOR THEM at the COST OF ALL. Only in that way can the message lead the way back into paradise and belonging. Only in that way can they rediscover the clan bonds that used to harbor their sensitivities and their innocence for their entire lives. You are still Jesus, you are still everything required in a messiah, and in fact, this time you've got one major advantage over the last time. See, Jesus, with your plug at last removed from the wall, you are finally liberated. You are free from the tether of material man's twisted society, and where you go, there goes your message.
Nothing is what comes out of a receptacle when there's nothing plugged into it. Nothing is the cities and the machinery of the consumer beast come the turning_away.
