werewolf Johnny liked him some spiders. he'd look at them and imagine long drawn out scenarios that placed them at the center of the universe sitting like they do in their web. he thought this world was really the animal's world, but especially the spiders'. Delicate and patient he imagined they had been super intelligent once but had seen those limitations and given up their minds for a life of simple hunger and inobtrusive creations and destructions, recyclings. good thing too, because to have to be aware all of the time how much humans were interfering with or threatening their righteous world would be too much for their little dark hearts to bear. to sit calmly with windmilling legs would take infinite patience, and spiders weren't like that - they were vicious on an appropriate scale, the way religious gods are vicious on an appropriate scale. but humanity always was saying damn the scale, you give me a boundry and it will occur to somebody and then by all of the jockeying to everybody to transgress it. don't even tell people they're trapped in their skin, they'll faly themselves to prove you wrong and think themselves beautiful for it. not spiders - spiders fucked you up, and got fucked up, but never ruined it for everyone, mainly sat in dark corners, contemplating the universe in its most dense and simple alive form. 040503
