I don't know about England, but in Canada, responsible piercing places make your parent sign a release form saying you can get it done. But this only is if your under the age of 18.

you quite welcome. forgeries must be quite authentic (ie; expensive) and make sure you memorize the last little details, because there are piercing places where you will be asked how old you are, etc.

hmmm, by expensive does that mean that there are official forms that i will have to pay to obtain to fill in, or is it just the process of submitting a consent form that is expensive? (sorry, i'm a bit dense lol).
also, how much do you think would it cost to get a piercing (esp. for a tongue)?
being 14 i have little money and i cant get a job, so i need to get something fairly cheap that hopefully isn't so bad that it will make my tongue swell up and turn blue, or like that guy's tongue off the movie 'rat race'.

there's a reason that you have to wait until you're 18 to get pierced, and it's not because those over that age enjoy being mean to those under.
i_g_g, please please please research tongue piercings before you get one done... with any piercing whatsoever there's the chance of tissue damage and infection... and this is where i step on my soapbox a moment... pure opinoin... piercings and tats aren't just a way of carrying more metal or making a fashion statement... they're a way of connecting yourself to your meat... getting mods done on a lark utterly cheapens the experience... take time to really think and think and think about what you're going to have done, why you want it done, how it will affect you (tongue rings can slur your speech, and being rather visible, alter people's perceptions of you, and i know, i know, i don't really give a shit about other people's perceptions, but unfortunately i like being able to waitress and work in a corporate environment without that particular tell), and really, really think about it. it's a Permanent modification to the Meat that you are Stuck With for the Rest of your Life (unless we get some serious scifi shit going on). money should come last.
okay, done being preachy, just kinda the mood i'm in, not meaning any offense or any pushiness, just, well, kinda had to burp that out. thanky.

well, I've got 4 in the left eyebrow, one in the right eyebrow....
and I lied on 040716, I only have 2 left ear and 3 right ear....I'm so ashamed at misleading you two....*sniffles*....
And I haven't gotten the tongue piercing done yet. I'm drifting into getting tattoos done. I have a tattoo on each shoulder now and at the end of this month I'm either getting a back piece done or maybe do something more with the biceps....haven't decided yet.
