From no experience of her own, my mother deducted that you only bleed black blood if a vital organ has been damaged. Then you're gonna die. It's in the movies, most likely. When we were little, I was supposed to be watching my little brother and I turned my back for one second and the next thing I know, he's crying... and there's this thick black stuff coming out of his nose. That couldn't be a good thing and was so not something I was equipped to handle, especially since he was too hysterical to tell me what had happened. I took him to my mother, who then proceeded to wig out, thinking that my brother was going to die, though, being a good mother, she kept up a calm facade. She made him stop crying and asked him to blow his nose. He did. It was a black jelly bean. |
