The greater of two consecutive even integers is six less than twice the smaller.

james thank you for your response I need to write this out into an equation such as x(x+_)= 2[x + (x +1)]+ 8

I just can't seem to get past this one.
...some of this algebra is just too hard (correction) algebra "is" hard but I'm trying to wing it.
