| stork daddy | if i had known the power i wielded, i would've perhaps been more careful in retrospect. i still think i'm insignificant, but i suppose that's also where my power comes from. because all humans are insignificant, and so i can't help but affect them at the only level that matters. the spider viciously idling in its web in the corner of a room may seem insignificant to us, but it is far less so to the fly. why though are we able to be both aware of our own insignificance and yet unable to truly transcend it? why even make us aware of the transcendent at the cost of caring about and protecting all that we actually have? | 050222 |
