If I hear one more person say: "Create jobs" I'm going to be sick. When my business gets to a point where I can't keep up with the orders or the customers and will start LOSING MY REPUTATION if I don't expand my capacity..I NEED someone to HELP me. I'm not some "job creator", I'm a business person who needs someone to help me achieve my goals and keep my hard fought progress going forward. A growing business CANNOT succeed without that help. But, rather than share the wealth with the people that help them, American business people decided to cut them out altogether and take the work to China or Mexico where they can work them to death for a pittance and keep more to buy that yacht and the beach house. That doesn't sound like a "job creator", a hero, a success story OR an American. It sounds like a greedy, ingrate.

Employers don't CREATE jobs..they get someone else to help them do THEIR job. If you want to make widgets, that's YOUR job. If you can't do YOUR job because it gets too busy, you ask someone to help YOU do YOUR job. Let's not turn this thing around backwards, shall we? That company that makes widgets is YOUR dream Mr/Ms.Widget..not Jorge the shipping and receiving guy's dream. Your reputation is on the line..not Jorge's. So here's the owner, striving for HIS/HER dream, acting like they did someone a favor by asking them to help with THEIR dream for PEANUTS. Acting like they did Xiao Ling a favor by paying him $3 a day at his job. That's not Xiao Ling's job. That's the OWNER'S job. He's just too lazy or limited to do his job by himself. So he has ol' Xiao Ling do it for crap wages, because his own countrymen wouldn't lower their standard of living enough. Backstabbers have their day coming. And then..to take on an air of superiority? It's ungrateful and says a lot about the current state of business ethics.

For the record, I'm working two companies right now if you don't count the music as an industry of sorts: roofing and laser engraving. I'm not a "job creator". I'm a guy with some ideas who took some chances and found some great people who not only believe in me and those ideas, but are willing to take a chance with me. We split profits evenly after costs. Always. I always will. If someone puts in the work, they get the reward. All hours are equal when they're coming off of YOUR life. I'm not a "job creator", I'm the lucky guy who has some help making my dreams for serving my community and society come true. I'm a ship on a mission that is lucky enough to have a good crew. They set THEIR lives aside and gave some time to MY ideas and MY dreams. How could I not recognize that? Anyone that underpays their workers to make profit or keep more, doesn't deserve success. They are an embarrassment to the human condition.

I'm going to do that next time I see a doctor. I'm going to tell him I created a job for him with my health issues. I'll tell him to check and clean my waxy ears really, really good because we're having a visit from the regional manager. Then I'll negotiate his wage; tell him he's taking a pay cut because my finances aren't looking so hot this quarter.

Bit my son when he was a baby. Stole and sold my 5 year old daughter's doll to buy some smack. Dropped my brother, sister and I off with alcoholics who beat me and raped my sister for 4 years when we were 1, 2 and 3 years old respectively. You may have her. :) Should have said "Your_weed!" Those are fighting words.
