wingedSerpent I feel a rant coming on.

Watching the news and reading the headlines and commentaries I have come to the following conclusions:

Rush Limbaugh should be shown the exact same lack of compassion that he has preached for anyone else in his position and i say this as a junkie in his eleventh year without a fix. HE should fall subject to the same draconian consequences he has advocated and though it won't happen, his favourite Attorney General John Ashcroft should make him an example of the Justice Department's get tough policy on offenders by refusing to offer Rush any plea-bargain opportuny and then sticking him with the mandatory sentence is for his part in the OxyContin situation he's embroiled in.

Speaking of people who should be subject to the administrative and legal wrath of the monster they have supported and cheered for, we need to find a way under the FISA and USA PATRIOT Act to have Pat Robertson detained and sent of to Guantanamo for advocating in recent remarks on the 700 Club that a nuclear device should be set off in the US State Department.

Yeah kids, the same patriotic christian american wonder who tried to blame gays, the pro-choice movement and the ACLU for 9/11 when he had a more substantive, if indirect role in supporting al Qaeda than any of those he blamed. Robertson, by having money ($73M US) invested in a mining operation with the Liberian Government - one of the African governments who sheltered al Qaeda operatives when US and other intelligence organizations were hunting for them in 2000 - could and should be indicted and arrested for that fact alone under the Enemy Combatant language in FISA and USA PATRIOT.

Pat Robertson's remark about getting into "Foggy Bottom" (nickname of the US State Department facility) and setting off a Nuclear-FUCKING-DEVICE is no different rhetorically than any of Osama bin Laden's calls on followers to strike at American targets and should be treated and prosecuted with the same gravity by the Justice Department and law enforcement as if he had spoken such a wish through an olive skinned mouth and an untrimmed beard, but we know that since he is of the same philosophical, religious, and ethnic bent as Bush and Ashcroft, his remarks will receive no further reproach than a verbal slap on the wrist if anything at all.

wingedSerpent Shit, i just realized i'm not done.

Arnold-Fucking-Schwarzenegger.

All those people who bought into the celebrity factor didn't realize that politically, Wilson, as Schwarzengroper's campaign manager is going to get to have his hands back on the reins of power again. Also, it's interesting that in the case of the sexual activity that were brought up as a charge against Bill Clinton's in his impeachment was a consensual act. The allegations against Governor Elect GropenFuhrer suggest that he did what he did without permission which is a much worse set of circumstances than any consensual indiscretion, but the same people who spent or advocated spending the 70 million in american taxpayer dollars to bring impeachment charges are the same people trying to minimize and mitigate someone else's unwanted and unwelcome advances.

And don't get me started on that little AWOL carrier-landing bitch still trying to insinuate a connection between Iraq and 9/11. In a speech this morning, he said that those troops who were serving and who had died in Iraq had "taken the lessons of 9/11 to heart"

Fuck you, Shrub

Little reminder for you, Mr. President, 9/11 = 15 Saudis, 0 Iraqis but whose dick is still in your mouth, right? I mean when you aren't blowing Ariel Sharon, that is.

And then there's the Vice President... of course he would come out of hiding long enough to defend the war in Iraq as his friends at Halliburton are profiting nicely from the whole operation.

And why haven't Karl Rove and VP's Chief of Staff I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby been directly questioned in relation to suspicion of having leaked the name of a NOC (Non-Official Cover) CIA operative to partisan hack newspaper columnist Robert Novak as part of a smear against the agent's husband, former Ambassador Joseph Wilson, for blowing a hole the size of Texas in the Yellowcake Uranium portion of the Shrub's State of the Union address.

Novak (or more properly "No-Facts") claims that it would be a breach of his journalistic ethics to name the source of the leak, but where were his ethics when he agreed to compromise national security by naming a deep cover CIA agent thus ensuring that all of her contacts in the field would likely be compromised (spell that DETAINED AND/OR KILLED with a side order of "interrogation" in the middle there somewhere)

Oh, i'm tired. People too busy waving the flag to know they're waiving their rights
